How To Clean An Offroad Motorcycle Air Filter
Learn in a few seconds how to clean and oil your foam air filter 🏍️
Step 1: CLEAN YOUR AIR FILTER.
To access your air filter, remove the saddle and/or the side panel and then disassemble the air filter. Pour some AIR FILTER CLEANER into a tray and soak your air filter a few times. Wring out the air filter without twisting it. Let it dry for 2 hours.
Step 2: OIL YOUR FOAM AIR FILTER.
Once your filter is dry, spray AIR FILTER OIL SPRAY all over the filter. Press the filter without twisting it to remove the excess oil. Let it dry for a few minutes on paper towels. Clean the cage and the screw, and put the filter back on the cage.
If you are doing extreme enduro in a humid environment, apply a thin layer of WATERPROOF GREASE to prevent water seepage.
